NHSRCL under its CSR initiative for financial year 2023-24, funded the construction of two Swachhtagarhas (toilet blocks) to enhance sanitation in Ashram School, one for boys in Damangaon village and one for girls in Ambesari village, Palghar District, Maharashtra.
The project aims to improve sanitation facilities, waste management systems, and overall hygiene for students and staff, creating a healthier and more supportive learning environment. It also includes hygiene education for the regular operation and maintenance of the facilities.
The project is implemented by Pruthvisangram Gramvikas Sanstha, Kadepur a registered society and public trust founded in March 2003, actively working in rural development areas such as women’s empowerment, health, education, and livelihood in Gujarat.
