Information on MAHSR C-3 Package

NHSRCL invites bids for Design and Construction of Civil and Building Works for 135 km of Viaducts, Bridges and Mountain Tunnels including three HSR stations -Thane, Virar and Boisar, between Shilphata and Zaroli in the state of Maharashtra for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor. This is the final tender for the construction of 508 km long MAHSR Corridor. (Package No. MAHSR-C-3)

The tender includes construction of 135 km of viaduct comprising 36 bridges including 11 bridges on the rivers and 6 number of mountain tunnels.

Bid submission end date: 14th March 2023

Bid Opening date: 15th March 2023

The 508 km of MAHSR alignment falls in two states- Maharashtra and Gujarat and one Union territory- Dadra and Nagar Haveli. This is the third and final tender for civil works in last five months for the 156 km long MAHSR corridor in Maharashtra. The bids for the construction of Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) underground HSR station were invited earlier this year on 22nd July 2022 and technical bids were opened on 4th November 2022, which are under finalization.

The bids for the construction of 21 km (approx.) of underground tunnel including 7 km of undersea tunnel between BKC HSR station and Shilphata were invited on 23rd September 2022 and are scheduled to be opened on 20th January 2023.

All the civil and track tenders for 352 km of alignment in Gujarat and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, including 8 HSR stations and One Sabarmati HSR depot are already finalized and work is in progress.
